WEAR THE BLUES

CASE -  Creation of a design which was essentially different from previous visual prints.

CHALLENGE -  Former designs were well balanced yet thematically cliche.

SOLUTION -  I chose a classic theme executed however in a more innovative style, sharp dancing lines and lively composition.

For the Konkinck Blues Festival I made a design to be screenprinted on shirts. To be worn by personnel of participating cafe’s.

CALL TO ATTENTION

CASE -  Designing several promotional materials for E-semble which fit the corporate style. Aditionally more consistend and with greater clarity.

CHALLENGE -  Adding value with my personal style in characters, infographs and typography without breaking present style rules.

SOLUTION -  By discussing choices made, regular feedback and sometimes opting for a more divergent solution I contributed to a more informative, playfull corporate style.

As a software developer of crisis simulation software E-semble needed material to illustrate their product was not only relevant but an essential tool to prepare for the worst.

N.E.I.L ALBUM COVER

CASE -  We took off this design with a brainstorm. Neil sent me his songs and explained their meaning. He also came up with a rough sketch for the main design.

CHALLENGE I inventorized the most important elements to be included on the album cover and made a more detailled sketch.

SOLUTION -  After the briefing and listening sessions we agreed on a general atmosphere and the cover got realized.

Before the band N.E.I.L went on tour they requested an album cover. This scene combines different aspects recurring in the songs.
